Who’s Xing?

XING is a Hamburg-based career-oriented social networking site. Founded in 2002 now is the leading online business network in German-speaking countries associating 16 million members (April 2019) with sales around 300 million euro (2021). The platform offers personal profiles, groups, discussion forums, event coordination, and other common social community features.

Xing faced significant challenges in managing their complex compensation structures across multiple business units and countries. The existing system lacked the flexibility to handle diverse commission plans and struggled to provide accurate, real-time data to sales representatives and managers. This led to frequent disputes and a lack of trust in the compensation process. Our Xactly Incent implementation strategy focused on creating a unified data ecosystem by integrating seamlessly with Xing’s existing CRM and ERP platforms. This integration enabled real-time commission calculations and provided sales representatives with instant access to their performance metrics and earnings through personalized dashboards. To address the complexity of Xing’s compensation plans, Xactly Incent implementation included configuring the system to handle multi-tiered commission structures, team-based incentives, and cross-selling bonuses across different business units and countries. The implementation also incorporated robust reporting and analytics tools, empowering sales managers with actionable insights for coaching and strategic decision-making.
