General terms and conditions

  1. The Data Administrator is SANDS Partners Sp. z o.o. based in Wrocław 50-559, Świeradowska 51/57, NIP: 8992861062, REGON: 383101477. Data protection complies with applicable law and data is stored on secured servers.
  2. For the purpose of better reception of this Privacy Policy, the term “User” has been replaced by “You”, “Administrator” by “We”. The term “GDPR” refers to General Data Protection Regulation (UE) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
  3. We respect your right to privacy and provide protection by using SSL protocol (Secure Sockets Layer) to encrypt communications.
  4. The personal data provided in the form on our website https://sandspartners.com is kept confidential and is not visible to unauthorized persons.

Data Administrator

  1. The service provider is the administrator of its clients and subscribers’ data, which means that if you fill in a contact form or subscribe for a newsletter, we process data such as your name and surname, e-mail address, phone number, position, work location, IP address, and other data in the form.
  2. The service provider is also an administrator of newsletter and webinar subscribers. The data is mainly stored in the systems such as WordPress and Mailchimp. The service provider is committed to using the latest versions of the application to improve the security of personal data storage.
  3. Personal data shall be processed:
    • in accordance with data protection laws,
    • in accordance with the implemented Privacy Policy,
    • to the extent necessary to draw up the content of the Agreement, its amendment or termination, and to provide the services electronically,
    • to the extent necessary to fulfill legitimate interests, and processing respects the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subjects, in particular to the extent and purpose compatible with the consent given by you if you subscribed for a newsletter, webinar, or filled in a contact form.
  4. Any data subject (provided we are the data administrator) shall have the right to access, rectify, remove or limit the processing to a minimum and shall have the right to object, the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

  6. We reserve the right to process your personal data after the termination of the Agreement or withdrawal of consent for the purposes of pursuing claims before the courts or if we are obliged to retain data under national or EU
  7. The Provider has the right to share the User’s personal data along with other data related to him with authorized entities under applicable laws (e.g. law enforcement authorities).
  8. Removal of personal data may occur as a result of the withdrawal of consent or filling an objection to the processing of personal data
  9. The Provider shall not make personal data available to any third party, except those authorized under applicable law.

Cookies

  1. The website https://sandspartners.com uses cookies. They are small text files sent by the WWW server and stored by the computer browser. When the browser reconnects with the website, the website recognizes the type of user’s equipment. With the use of parameters, the information contained therein can only be read by the server that created them. Cookies facilitate the use of previously visited websites.
  2. The information collected includes IP address, browser type, language, operating system, Internet provider, time and date, location and information sent to the website via a contact form.
  3. The data we collect is used to monitor and verify how the users use our websites, to optimize the performance of the service for more effective navigation. The following tools are used to monitor information about users: Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, HotJar, Google Search Console, SEMrush.
  4. Cookies identify the user, which enables to tailor the website content to his needs. By remembering the user’s preferences, it is possible to adjust profiled advertising. We use cookies to guarantee the highest standard and comfort of using our service. The data is collected and processed only within the company SANDS Partners Sp. z o.o. to provide optimal performance.
  5. The website uses the following types of cookies:
    • “Necessary” cookies, enabling the use of services available on the site, such as cookies used for services that require authentication on the website;
    • Cookies used for security purposes, such as detecting authentication fraud on a website;
    • “Performance” cookies that allow collecting information regarding the use of the site;
    • “Functional” cookies, which enable ‘remembering’ the settings selected by the user and personalization of the user’s interface, such as language or region, font size, website appearance, etc.;
    • “Advertising” cookies, to provide users with advertising content more relevant to their interests.

Other

  1. Media
    • If you upload images to a website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
  2. Cookies
    • If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
    • If you have an account, and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
    • When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login information will be retained for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
    • If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and only indicates the post ID of the article you just edited.
  3. Embedded content from other websites
    • Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor has visited the other website.
    • Such websites may collect your information, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including following your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to a website. 
  4. How long do we retain your data
    • If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows to automatically recognize and approve additional comments instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.
    • For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and edit that information.
